Boston, Mass. B.F. Keith's October 29th. 7 Seabury & Shaw;- 11 min., open in 1, close f.s.. The opening number of this boy and girl does not make much of an impression, but when they go to work in full stage, the act picks up. The boy's dancing equals that of any male dancer we have played this season. His steps are, a great many of them, original and called for big applause. The act was a good opener. Brennan & Vaughn;-14 min. in 1. Singing act with lady at the piano. The man has an exceptionally good voice, and the act seemed to gain favor after the first couple of numbers. Lew Madden & Co in "Monday Morning":-22 min. in 2/ This is Madden of Madden & Fitzpatrick and is what might be termed a "slang" classic. Mr. Madden handles the material in a pleasing manner and combined with his work at the piano put the act over in good shape. Ed & Lou Miller;-13 min. in 1. These two boys have a well arranged program and very good voices. Closed to a good hand. Dugan & Raymond;-15 min. in 3. This act was just as big a hit as on its previous visit. Went over big. Walter Weems;- 18 min. in 1. Weems had a difficult spot but held it down nicely and closed to a good hand. Evelyn Nesbitt;- 20 min. f.s., spl. set. Miss Nesbitt got a reception both afternoon and evening, and assisted by Bobby O'Neill and some very beautiful costumes, put over a singing and dancing act above the average, closing to a big hand. Whiting & Burt;- 16 min. in 1. These very clever artists were a decided hit in next to closing spot. DeWitt, Burns & Torrence;- 12 min. f.s., spl. set. Considering that this act has played here a number of times with absolutely no changes in scenery or "business", it held our audience very well for a closing act. -Cuts- Walter Weems;- Please eliminate from your act the remark "woke up in the morning and kissed his own wife".
