Boston, Mass. B. F. Keith's Nov. 5th., 1917. Roberto & Verera;- Man and woman; 15 min., f.s.. This act is very beautifully staged and the man has a very good routine of juggling. His lady assistant sings a little during some of the tricks. Rather quiet act to open with. Finished to a fair hand. Al Rover assisted by his Sister:- 11 min. in 1. They have a very neat musical and dancing novelty. Went over very well. Wilfred Clarke & Co., 18 min. f.s.. This is one of those rapid fire sketches in which this clever comedian usually appears. The story is very well handled and seemed to please our audience. Bailey & Cowan:- 13 min. in 1. These boys have a great routine of "Jazz" material and certainly know how to put it over. Went over well. World Dancers;- 29 min. f.s., Spl. set. All the members of this Company are exceptionally good dancers, and with the very good work of Mr. Sheehan and Miss Regay, keep things on the move. While the individual work did not receive any great amount of applause, their combined efforts drew down a good hand for the finish. Sylvia Clark;- 15 min. in 1. Miss Clark seemed to please very much and held this spot nicely. Will Ward and 5 Girls 26 min. f.s.. This act makes a big flash with its five pianos, pretty girls and costumes, Mr. Ward occupies the center of the stage most of the time and keep the act moving along in good shape. Went over well. Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Barry;- 23 min. in 2, spl. drop. This is Mr. Barry's first appearance here in "The Burglar". To judge from the laughter and applause, his latest effort is one of his best. Great Leon;- 17 min. f.s.. This man has a rattling good magic act. The act is well staged, makes a big flash and the tricks are very cleverly performed. Makes a very good closing act.
