Report of show playing at Keith's Providence Theatre week of November 19, 1917. We fell down on the show a little this week; while the bill is not bad, it does not compare with last week's by any menas. CHARELS LOVENBERG? Manager. LITTLEJOHNS: Club juggling, revolving globes and a little wire walking. These people hava a very beautiful set, but their work is most indifferent. 7 minutes F.S. ARNOLD & TAYLOR. Comedy songs and a little patter presented in an unusual manner. Their material is excellent and in the hands of better performers would no doubt be a real hit; as it is the act is only fair. 14 minutes in one. DOOLEY & NELSON: Two men who do a little bit of everything but excel in their dancing. A very good act that made a hit. 14 minutes open and close in one. MAUDE DURAND & CO: In a fairly acceptable comedy sketch of which the theme is a very dangerous one, taking up as it does and advocating the intermarriage of Catholics and Jews. It is all right to a broad minded person but, the Orthodox are sure to resent it. 20 minutes F.S. OLGA BORIS: Pianiste;- very good/10 minutes in one. LYDELL & HIGGINS: Well known comedy act that made a hit. 28 minutes in one. DONG FONG GUE & HARRY HAW: Chinese singers and dancers. The first part of their act is very slow but they pull up strong on the last half with their splendid dancing, while their costumes are also worth talking about. A hit. 17 minutes; half in one, last half F.S. CONROY & LE MAIRE: In "For Sale - A Ford" Big laughing hit. 18 minutes open in one, close in two. THE 3 JAHNS: Marvelous head balancers;- held the audience intact and made a hit. 8 minutes F.S. CUTS Maude Durand & Co. "hell" Motion Pictures O.K.
