PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S NOV. 19, 7 PATHE. 14 min. Up to the average. STERLING & MARGUERITE. 8 min. Man and woman in a few minutes of speedy work on the flying rings. They open in one with some singing and dancing then go into Full Stage for their athletic finish. Did well as an open[er?]. DAVE ROTH. 15 min. This fellow does a little bit of everything, playing the piano and violin as well as singing and dancing. He works hard and gets his stuff over with good results. He was a good sized applause hit. "DREAM FANTASIES." (Cleveland Bronner & Co.) 23 min. A very elaborate scenic production with a man and two girls employed in a series of eleven dance numbers which consist chiefly of costume changes. It is a highly colored act but there is too little variety to the numbers except in the way of costumes. It was greeted with only fair applause. BEATRICE HERFORD. 18 min. A high-class offering and as usual she went very well here. Two of the three numbers used were new and delivered in her usual excellent manner. She was very well received. FRANK STAFFORD & CO. 19 min. This sketch was very well received despite the fact that it has played here two or three times and is unchanged. Stafford's imitations brought good results and the sketch finished to a very good hand. JULIETTE DIKA. 19 min. Her repertoire of songs consists of several in English and about an equal number in French and while she went fair with her English songs, she was a tremendous hit with her French numbers and finished to a big hand, being compelled to come back and sing "The Marseillaise." She wore several striking costumes. PAUL DICKEY. 30 min. "The Lincoln Highwayman." With a change of cast and a slight change in the business leading up to the big climax, this sketch went over as a big applause hit on its second visit here. There is plenty of action and the surprise climax gives it a strong finish. Following his act Dickey made a speech of strong appeal for the Y.W.C.A. Fund now going on in this city. McKAY & ARDINE. 19 min. Their new act is much better than the old one. There is just a little of the old finish retained but it works in with the new material in splendid shape. They put over a good sized laughing and applause hit. JAMES DUTTON & CO. 8 min. One of the prettiest bareback acts in vaudeville. It is beautifully dressed and the equipment is very showy, making a beautiful stage picture. The riding of the man and two girls is also high-class and was a big applause winner. GENERAL REMARKS. A very good show with a several big applause hits. Dickey's big dramatic sketch is surrounded with plenty of variety and comedy with a big showy number at the finish.
