Boston, Mass. B.F.Keith's Nov. 26, 1917. Pictures Hearst Pathe News;- Good. The Littlejohns-Man and woman-8 min. f.s. Spl. set.. This act has a very pretty stage set; makes nice appearance but their juggling is not up to the average. Went fair. Ford & Houghton-18 min. in 1. This is Johnny Ford of the Ford family of dancers assisted by Miss Houghton. They do some singing, dancing and a little talk. Went fairly well in its spot. LeMaire & Gallagher-18 min. f.s., Spl. set. This military travesty handled by these capable performers was a succession of laughs and closed big. Florenze Tempest-22 min. in ., Spl. set. Miss Tempest makes a very natty appearance in her male attire, and is equally attractive in beautiful dresses. She has a good selection of songs and is ably assisted by George Harris at the piano. Act went good. In The Dark- 22 min., spl. set. This melodramatic novelty is in the hands of a very capable cast and held the interest of our audience throughout. Closed big. Milt Collins- 14 min. in 1. They were a little hard for this act in starting in but warmed up nicely at the finish. Closed good. Maude Earle & Co.-24 min. in 2-1/2, Spl. set. Miss Earle has a very novel manner of presenting a singing act. All her numbers are well chosen and she sings very well. She is assisted by Neville Fleeson as the "Judge". Act went big. Morton & Glass-16 min. f.s (open in 1) Spl. set. This act is the same as played here last with the exception of the opening song in set. They pleased throughout and their finish dance on the steps brought them a big hand at the close. Three Jahns-7 min. f.s. Balancing act by three clever performers with good stage presence in natty costume. Held our audience well for closing act. Went good. Cut;- Ford & Houghton;- Mr. Houghton please eliminate the word "dam" from your act.
