Boston, Mass. B. F. Keith's Dec. 17, 1917. Pathe News;- Pictures O.K.. 16 min. Darras Bros.;- 7 min., f.s.. These men do some very clever hand and head balancing, both ground work and trapeze. Made good opening. Jennie Middleton;- 14 min. in 1. Girl violinist whose youth and charming manner added greatly to her musicianship. Went well. Beaumont & Arnold;- 16 min., f.s. close in 1. This act is somewhat similar to their previous offering only the action takes place in a recruiting office. As soon as the lady got dancing the act picked up and closed to a good hand. Nat Nazarro & Co. This is a very good and interesting act of acrobats and tumblers, but it would be a great deal more valuable to us, if it had not played the Scollay Square Olympia or cheap house, under the name of the Orrazzas Troup about three months ago. Although it is a good act, it seems to me there ought to be enough acts to take the place of troups of this kind that play a ten cent house a few weeks before they come into a place like Keiths. Kaufman Bros. 17 min. in 1. Although these boys play here quite frequently, they always seem to please and closed to a good hand. Morris & Campbell 15 min. in 1. Spl. drop. Lady Duff Gordon;- FASHION SHOW 30 min. f.s.. Although the Madam has a new Stage Manager, etc., they arrived in Boston without baggage Monday and this with the temperament on the part of the Madam, did not make a very good impression. Yesterday the show went over in good shape. Costumes are beautiful; the girls are striking; in fact the whole production is more than worth while, and I think we will do some business even though it is the week before Christmas. Morris & Campbell 15 min. in 1. Spl. drop. This act started off a little slow but finally got to going and closed to a good hand. Meehan's Dogs. 10 min., f.s.. This act is in a class by itself and made a very good closing act. Cuts;- Morris & Campbell;- Please eliminate business of thumbing nose in dance.
