5c FANTASY FICTION FIELD 5c ILLUSTRATED NEWS WEEKLY ______________________________ Volume 2 Number 3 April 12,1941 Whole Number 26 ______________________________ ASTONISHING STORIES TO SKIP JUNE ISSUE -- see story on page nine -- ______________________________ FRANK R. PAUL PRESENTS : - Those of you who were lucky enough to attend the 1939 Science Fiction Convention, held in New York City, will remember seeing something similar to the foto presented below. This photograph can but faintly suggest the full panorama of fantastic artistry imbued in the large, original drawing. For those who were unable to be present at the Nycon, this will give some idea of what it is all about. Mr. Paul writes us, in regard to the drawing, "The scenes portray things we will see in the immediate future, as most of them are from patents and are already in the experimental stage, such as Rain Towers, Sun Motors, full color Television, destruction of insects with inaudible sound waves, metals from the oceans, and so on." {Picture of future inventions}
