                U L T I M A T U M
   A most unfortunate matter has come to our attention which we would much rather not mention here,but I’m afraid we must—since ‘they have stated in highly  insulting & threatening letters,that it will “ALL BE REVEALED” in the next FAPA & possibly FFF.(This will all be explained further down,but to continue: )They have just sent a threatening letter,in which their “ULTIMATUM” WAS ISSUED,& expired on “Sept. It”. That letter arrived on night of I4—it would have been impossible to have even telegraphed an answer before the I5th(midnight).It has already expired.The perpetrators of this “shocking infamy”in fandom, haven’t even the forethought or elemental intellect to look at a calendar or realize it takes 3 or 4 days for even airmail from East to the West coast.
   Quite obviously this infamous clique did not want to receive an answer-since that would have spoiled part of their whole little [schem] of being able to publish their defamation of character & “Black-mail” campaign against a well-known fan whose na me will be temporarily withheld here at this time.Wanting an “excuse”& having no case & no ground to stand upon, this move is so obvious its absurd in the extreme. STATEMENT BY ? ? ? ((Whose name  will not be mentioned here as yet.This will give everybody a chance to drop &”forget”the entire affair,with no ones name having been mentioned—should the 3 of them [car] to drop this whole crazy thing at once.However they seem to be determi ned to “spread their lies & defamation all over fandom in FAPA & Triple-F.This they have announced .This then shall be a brief account of the affair with “me” & “they” or other “descriptions”used in place of names.If the whole thing is dropped ,no one will be the worse off. Know that the “me”herein is still willing to let what has already transpired & been said,to be “forgotten”!
   On the other hand,if “they”persist in this uncalled for attack & have it spread all over FFF & FAPA ,with the names mentioned of course, all of you [readers] will know who all the persons mentioned herein ARE ,& will already know the true story ! ))
