A temperamental typewriter is the reason for this scribbling. Please excuse it. Although this issue is dated as a bi-monthly, The Review will resume its monthly schedule hereafter. To make up for the lapse, the number of pages has been increased to 20. At the IFA meeting in Chicago, it was suggested that the library need not be centralized. If some member should care to keep his books or magazines at home, between lending intervals, instead of sending them to the Central library, he could do so. This is up to you. I wonder how you like Morrie Jenkinson's pics in this issue. I really think they're improved since the last issue. Perhaps you have some particular type of drawing you'd have him do. If you do, just let us know and presto! Next month, I hope to introduce the work of a new artist member, Phil Bronson. That is to say, if he has recovered from an accident to his wrist by that time. This may be an illustrated story! We were pleasantly surprised to receive a dollar bill from Ray Bersi to help the IFA along when he heard of it. It certainly helped to get this issue out. Thanks, Ray! The dues of 5¢ a week officially began on Oct. 15. This will be just about the time this magazine is received. For the benefit of those readers who are hearing of the IFA for the first time, let me say a few words concerning it. This is a non-commercial, non-political association founded by stf readers who just "get a kick" out of the literature who like to get together with other persons of similar tastes. This mag is published as the connecting link and also to encourage and develop the talents of amateur writers and artists. Write! Ted Dikty P.S. The address is 3136 Smith St. Ft. Wayne, Ind.
