Theatre tends to be the most likely summaritive art form with the allure of mixed media events offering the possibility of an elongated more complex experience or a more complicated but precise experience as proposed by Marinetti. Since our faces have been returned to us by the popularization of cinema, it naturally follows that poetry should extend itself into the spoken arts. Print may be in the descendance, but the poetic sensibility, upon its radicalization by the Symbolists has maintained a place among with painting, music, and dance as a "modernized" art and seems to be likely candidate for inclusion in a summaritive art form. Poetry is always a synthesizer, handling concrete images as well as metaphysics, moving as ordinary speech and non-developmental thought. Poetry is also the art form most closely approaching consciousness, except, perhaps for synaesthetic cinema, although it is not as media bound.;Poetry amount to synaesthesia in that it is continually drawing attention away from itself, always placing feeling. It can pervade events, such as the presentation of objects. In the mixed media events I initiated, I relief on spoken material combined with this visualization. Some objects were sculpture designed especially for the event.
