Proposal for Museum Event on Saturday October 23rd I propose standing outside the museum door dressed in a tuxedo, I will wear no stockings and no shoes. On a small oriental rug beside me will be a table holding a set of miniature dining room furniture. Moving about this room will be a mechanical penguin. I will wind the penguin and set up any furniture it should upset, otherwise , I will stand quietly. This occurence will be lighted by a single high intensity theatre light. Whenever the penguin itself side arm floor lamp falls off the table the event will end. Dennis Swanson At each of the four corners of this larger room will be persons holding large houseplants. From time to time wild bird calls will be produced from behind these plants by the sixth performer.
