The residences house approximately 500 women who are members of the groups. No freshmen live in the chapter houses. Girls interested in sorority membership are invited to participate in the fall rushing period, prior to registration. Rush registration material is mailed to all girls who mark a fraternity interest on their application for admission and any girl may register, providing she meets the scholarship requirement. Entering freshmen must have graduated in the upper half of their high school classes and have a 2.5 high school grade point average; college transfer students must have a 2.2 or higher average for college work completed.
