Posters and display cards approved for campus bulletin boards must not exceed 11 x 14 inches in size. Banners displayed on the Pentacrest will be limited to events of an all-campus nature, such as Homecoming, Spring Festival, etc. Student groups desiring the use of a booth on campus must make written requests to the Office of Student Affairs at least one week in advance giving dates needed, purpose, and name of person in charge. Off-campus speakers - Student organization planning programs involving off-campus speakers should make requests in the Office of Student Affairs at least one week in advance. Policy on soliciting, selling, and distributing on campus - Recognized student organizations are entitled to use of University facilities in situations relating to the purposes of the organizations and consistent with the educational aims of the University. In the event that student and non-student University organizations simultaneously request use of the same facilities at the same time, preference ordinarily will be given to the University student organization. Permission ordinarily will be given to a University-recognized organization to distribute or sell on campus literature or notices relating to the purposes of the organization, to distribute or sell tickets to public events appropriately sponsored by the organization, to post approved notices relating to the purposes of the organization on bulletin boards, and to seek voluntary contributions for purposes consistent with the aims of the organization and not for the personal benefit of members. In interpreting the aims or purposes of the organization, the statement in its constitution will be followed. The permitted activities will be carried on only at reasonable times and places on the campus as determined from time to time by the Committee on Student Life and under reasonable conditions imposed by the authorities charged with control of the areas involved to prevent interference with the traffic and good order of the University community.
