PHILIP THOMPSON... ..chairman of the Augsburg College Art Department, Minneapolis, Minnesota, will be a guest of the University community by arrangement of the Lutheran Campus Ministry. some of Mr. Thompson's prints and paintings will be on display at St. Paul's Chapel, 404 E. Jefferson and at the Christus House, 124 E. Church, starting Saturday, March 21. On Sunday morning, 10:15 a.m., March 22, Mr. Thompson will participate in a dialogue, "What's New in Worship and the Arts?" at St. Paul's. A potluck dinner will be held at 12:00 noon Sunday at St. Paul's with a discussion about Mr. Thompson's work, and a slide series on the environment in and around United States churches. This program will be repeated Sunday night at St. Paul's at dinner 6:00-7:00 p.m. for further information contact: Jim Narveson - 337-5191. DORM SURVEY A survey was conducted recently by Research Area of Union Board. The survey was completed by 2,408 dormitory residents. a sample of the questions asked and their responses appear below: "Do you plan to return to the University of Iowa next fall assuming conditions are the same as they are at present?" Response: out of 2305 residents who answered the question... Yes: 2030 for 87.95% and No: 275 for 12.05%. "If you answered "yes" to the preceding question, do you plan to live in the dorm?" Response: out of 1993 who answered the question...Yes: 765 for 37.37% and No: 1228 for 62.35%. "Through what sources do you find out what is happening in the Union?" Response: out of 6,330 responses, Daily Iowan, 1910-30.61%; WSUI, 99-1.66%; KICR, 962-14.75%; Posters and Bulletin Boards, 1460-23.48%; Word of Mouth, 1425-22.83%; Iowa city Press Citizen, 49-.78%; and Others, 225-3.45%.
