THE AWARD-WINNING " KNOW YOUR NEIGHBOR" PANELISTS On September 27, 1960, six Des Moines housewives told an audience about their unique approach to a problem in human relations. The ladies represent different religions, races and beliefs, which has strengthened their common faith and hope in the individual. There are now 14 women participating to meet the demand for this rewarding project. The panel has received several awards, including the first female "Des Moines Ambassadors", the Americanism Award and an award for distinguished public service in the field of adult education.
