Inside he thrust the gold into the chief's hands and while all in sight gathered around him to have a look he sneaked into a small closet. At once the pirate ship got under way and in a few minutes was miles away from the disabled space ferry. As soon as the pirate ship was far enough away Koso sent for help. A lone Navy ship picked up the message and in a few hours the ship reached the ferry. here it took the two parts of the ship in tow and headed for the moon. on the way Koso told the Captain of the Navy ship the whole story. "OK, Koso," said the Captain of the Navt ship, as soon as we get that disabled ship to the moon,we will go after the pirates." The Navy ship landed safely with the broken ferry and in an hour was after the pirate ship. They traced the pirate ship in a very clever way. All the credit goes to Koso. Before Bob had left the doomed ferry Koso had put in his pocket a small substance that gave out a very peculiar radio signal. These Koso traced with another of his very ingenious inventions, and hence he had before him a trail to the pirate ship as clear as if the pirate ship was in sight. The Navy ship traveled for hundreds of hours before Koso exclaimed, "Ship just ahead." "where I don't see anything," answered the Captain. "Him invisible," exclaimed Koso, "Look out him shoot." But the pilot had seen the flash and had driven the ship out of harms way. now that the Captain had seen with his own eyes a ray from empty space, he didn't hesitate a second. He gave orders to fire at Koso's directions.Rays flashed from every side of the navy ship. One stopped in mid space and the next moment a loud flash appeared and then the partly fused pirate ship appeared. navy men boarded the ship and CONTINUED ON PAGE 10
