OUR PROJECTS Report on projects in the order of their expected appearance. All of these projects have been copyrighted both by the NFFF Copyright Bureau and with the Federal Copyright Bureau. 1. Reprint edition of the FIRST FINLAY PORTFOLIO (authorized by All-Fiction Field, Mary Gnaedinger, Editor of FFM). Probable release date: July 1946. Price to members in good standing: 50¢. Price to others $1.00. Reserve your copies now. Members may order in quantity at the member’s price if order, accompanied by funds, is received prior to publication. Send orders to Dunk. 2. Stf Collector’s Magazine Check List - (tentative title) - Contents: Listings of all stf magazines from English speaking countries by date issue and volume number. Introductory material on each magazine title by Lynn Bridges concerning purpose, history, technique, style, etc. Also to be included (we hope) are reproductions of the signatures of the editors associated with each of the mags. The release date on this has been hopefully set for September. If we can successfully obtain signatures or tracings of signatures of the editors from older fans and collectors the project will be completed on time. 3. Bill Evan’s Bibliography of Stf Mags - (tentative title) - Contents: Complete Bibliography by title, author and decimal classification (using the Speer system with improvements). This will cover all standard promags in the stf field. Our previously announced Biblio of author and titles has been junked in favor of this. All who have been consulted believe it to be far superior to that originally planned and we are indeed happy that Bill Evans agreed to release it in cooperation with NFFF projects committees. Those working on projects numbered 2 and 3 are: K.M.Carlson, Willi Evans, Lynn Bridges, Ron Maddox and Robert C. Peterson. Your proxy is busy checking lists and helping where ever he can, he’ll probably be responsible for the duplicating in binding jobs. For the reprint edition of the FIRST FINLAY PORTFOLIO rights we are indebted to MRS. Mary Gnaedinger. It is doubtful if we can properly express our appreciation in words. Thank you, Mary! Your Proxy is preparing a description of the job and will send it to several litho companies for bids. Any profits accruing from this project will, of course, be put in the NFFF Treasury. The more we make on this project the less the other projects will cost when the results are ultimately sold to fandom. N.F.F.F. Information Service: _______________________ The following are now available from: Walter Dunkelberger - 1443 Fourth Avenue South – Fargo, North Dakota. The only regulations are that you handle the material carefully to prevent damage to it and return it promptly so that the next one on the list can receive it in a reasonable length of time.
