MEMBERSHIPS ALL GOOD LITTLE FANS SHOULD JOIN! Fan Conventions have come to be recognized as one of THE main fan activities. Therefore, it is one in which everyone who has the best Interest of Fandom at heart will want to support. SO GET THAT BUCK IN TO US RIGHT NOW! And, too, there are many perquisites that attach to membership, even If you will not be able to attend personally. Each member gets all pro-convention publications, Including the official magazines; nine (9) different stickers in two colors each (designed by Goldstone and Ashley); the membership card, drawn by Roy Hunt; a copy of the Convention Booklet Free to those who cannot attend, and many, many other mementoes. Sooooo, whether you can attend or whether you cannot do so, you owe It to yourself (as well as to all Fandom), to be a member of the PACIFICON as well as each yearly fanvention. Walt Daugherty, 1305 W. Ingraham, LA 14, will be very glad to receive that dollar, IMMEDIATELY, and will see that you get all the material coming to those who support the PACIFICON by joining. and, finally, if your membership is in by the 15th of June, your name will be listed in the Convention Booklet. SO RUSH IT IN — NOW! EEE HOTELS OFFICIAL CONVENTION HOTELS The COMMODORE and MAYFAIR hotels were chosen as the main Convention hotels, since.they are both fine hotels; are within two blocks of each other; are, on a direct streetcar line within five minutes ride of the Convention Hall; and are also close to the LASFS Clubroom. These hotels have promised us a number of reservations, BUT, these reservations must be in our hands by June.20th — not laterI (Continued) 3
