HEY, YOU FAN-EDS! DO YOU WANT YOUR FANZINE TO BE BETTER KNOWN THROUGHOUT FANDOM? DO YOU WANT TO GET MORE SUBSCRIBERS FOR YOUR FANZINE? DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE "OH!" AND "AH!" ABOUT YOUR LOVELY FANZINE? WELL, BUB, DO YOU? Then get busy and make up a special edition to be included in the PACIFICON COMBOZINE. We want everybody to be represented-- and that means YOU! We want 200 copies of your mag, don on 8 1/2 x 11" paper (no matter if you usually have a different size for your mag, these should all be standardized). We want you to send them to us all assembled, but NOT stapled. We will assemble all the fanzine thus received, in alphabetical order, and bind them in a fine, heavy cover -- it will have a ROY HUNT litho on it. They will be solf* at the PACIFICON for just enough to cover the binding costs. ALSO THOSE REMAINING WILL BE SOLD TO FANS WHO COULD NOT ATTEND THE CONVENTION. We are allowing 2 to 6 pages, plus covers -- or, if you do not ordinarily use covers, you can send us 8 to 10 pages. You can print anything you like -- we are not going to do any censoring. But we may suggest that in addition to the kind of material you ordinarily use, you include a page telling any possibly new readers just what sort of a mag you usually publish -- format, contents, regularity, of publication, subscription price, and price of davs.**, (if you run them), and such information as might help you gain new subscribers. We had set a deadline of June 1st for receiving these mags but new arrangements make it possible for us to include your contribution if it is in our hands by JUNE 20th. But NOT LATER! SO GET BUSY -- NOW! Four are already in, and others promised -- IS YOURS? E. Everett Evans, 628 So. Bixel Str., Los Angeles 14, has charge of this project, and all mags should be sent to him. And he would appreciate an immediate postcard saying you are going to have a mag in this grand PACIFICON memory-book. So whether it is a Subzine, a FAPA- or VAPA-zine -- let us have those 200 copies pronto if not sooner. This will be a real collector's item, and you don't want to be left out, do you? WELL, WHAT YA WAITING FOR, BUB? GET BUSY! *Read "Sold ** Martian for "Ads" 15
