The director should try to become familiarized with the various campus services, offices, or channels which enable a university organization to function. This is especially helpful when organizing a performance to be held on the Iowa campus. The responsibilities of the Bailadores Director incude: -Bookings; Carrying on correspondence with people at location of a tentative performance. -Money; Make purchases for group, keeping track of allocated budget, know how much is spent and how much is left. - Transportation; Securing state vehicles for travel to performance. -Advertisement; -Rehearsals; Set up a regular rehearsal schedule; reserve a place to practice, be present at all rehearsals, be ready and available to meet with group members outside of schedule rehearsals for extra or needed practice. -Keep record of and be responsible for costumes, props, and music.
