Summary of Duties: 
The primary responsibilities emanating from the position of Prison Visitation Coordinator revolve around the monthly visit to the Iowa State Penitentiary at Fort Madison, Iowa. Prison Administration has reserved the first Saturday of each month for our inside - the - walls meeting with our counterpart organization, the Indian American - Chicano Cultural Center. Duties of the Coordinator consist of handling requisitions for vehicles, Obtaining said vehicles, recruiting visitors, and insuring the security clearences are in order and currently approved by Prison Administrators. Correspondence with Convicts and Prison Administration is an ancillary but essential responsibility of the position as coordinator.
