Just one. Just one? Just one. Gueoro: EQUAL OPPORTUNITY... Yes, that is what we have in this glorious land of ours. Everywhere you find an equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, color, or creed. Our laws are made to create equality. Chicano: Really? I've heard that in Iowa it is against the law to teach school classes in Spanish, except for Spanish language classes. Guero: Well, ...uh...hmm...yes!! That's right!! That means [[underline]]no one[[end underline]] can teach school classes in Spanish. How much more equality do you want? Chicano: But wait a minute. How about those chicanos who begin school knowing only how to speak Spanish? Guero: No problem. We treat them equally. They are not allowed to be taught in Spanish either. When we say equality, we mean EQUALITY! Back to our story. A chicano graduated from college. What?!? Pete Rael 5
