So, if you need some small change fast, with no hassles, come talk to Pete or Betty Rael upstairs from the House. If you wish to donate blood, contact Joe Torres at 351-0884 New List A revised list of the Chicano Indian-American Student Union has been made up and can be picked up at the Chicano Indian American Cultural Center. The new list contains about 46 members. Recruiting Des Moines Dec. 11 (If you want to go, contact Rusty.) Rusty has already visited two Chicago schools, it is hopeful that some students will apply. Other cities and towns that have been contacted are: Davenport, Sioux city, Fort Madison, mason City. Chicano Class The Chicano Class meets every Monday at 7 p.m. at the Chicano Indian-American Cultural Center. Many visitors from around the Iowa city area have been regular participants of our classes. From Ft. Madison are Mr. and Mrs. Casey Lopez. Mr. Lopez is a city councilman of Ft. Madison. From the Muscatime Migrant Center is Mr. and Mrs. Juan Cadena. Coming up from Davenport is Mr. Ernest Rodriguez the director of the Area Board for migrants There have been such topics discussed as the role of the Chicano in the university, and even more recently there was a session dealing with Mexican Folklore. For those of you who have not been attending the Chicano Class conducted have been missing out on a real experience. The session became very involved with the legend of "La LLarona." Each class seems to have at least one of our visitors from outside of the community of the University. At times we are entertain new brothers from other localities as well.All of us at the House urge you to come and share your opinions and information, it would be to everyone's advantage if you did. Free Medical Clinic The Free Medical Clinic is opened Monday and Thursday nights from 7 to 11 p.m. If you need medical attention, go it is free. FLASH!!! Everybody light their candles for Rusty as she takes her Comprehensive Tests next week, o.k.?!! 4
