On February 12, the editor of FANTASY NEWS sent a special delivery letter to Mr, Jerry Albert, Editorial Director of ALBING Publications which read in part: "Just as I was about to seal this letter, I received a rather frantic report from one of my re porters that your magazines have ceased publication. Although this seems preposterous, the source of this news is usually so reliable that l am taking this opportunity to ask you if you would kindly affirm or deny this rather sensational report." So far nothing has been heard from Mr. Albert although an effort is being made to obtain a personal interview. It is to be understood that the above report is published merely as the opinion of the reporter who sent it in until such time as we are able to obtain an affirmation or denial of it direct from the source. ___________________ _ LIFE Magazine for Nov 23, 1936,p.61 shows a photo of the stage version of Teine's "Green Fire".
