The explanation here is easy; the design tends to start from theoutside and rotate towards the center. This means just what it implies; "every line goes to one center or one thing which is the artists interpretation of his own conceited, self centered ego. Egocentric is the better word. Just the opposite is the pattern drawn by the introvert. His doodle begins from the center and goes outward. The doodle where written words have been hidden under the graphite marks of a pencil or the ink of a pen tell the story of a secretive person. The urge to cover up, to hide something on a page where the hidden object is nothing but an advertisment clearly illustrates this form frequently found. Another type of automatic writing that is found is pictures of certain well know objects. The picture of a boat denotes a love of travel, the sea, and a love of adventure. Boats in rough water show a love of adventure, but a fear of entering it. This doodle that is drawn by a gay and cheerful sort of person who is no doubt an optimist. The idea of the beaming countanance of old sol suggests something warm, human, gay and etc. This doodle, if you can make sure it is a doodle, and was not a game of tit-tat-toe, reveals a personality that although not adapted ti deep concentration is one that thrives on competion. Compare this with the doodle at the head of this article. If the reader has any doodles that he is interested in founding out their meaning meanings, I will be only too glad to analyze them, provided that a self addressed, self stamped envelope is enclosed with the doodle and the request.
