-- Science Fiction Collector -- Page Thirteen nudes, there is no truth to the rumor that RAM is married. . . . Bob Cordner, another new PSFS acquisition, is trying to build up a good collection of [[underline]] Weird Tales [[end underline]] -- he's purchased quite a few from Charles Bert, the ol' master of lycanthropy. . . . Ossie Train now reads good stuff such as "Studs Lonigan" -- real high-brow literature -- too crummy for the average low-brow. . . There was a time when PSFS members walked to meetings, now Agnew, JVB, RAM, John Newton, Philip Young, all have go-carts -- of course they're used for other things besides meetings -- such as parking in dark streets. (Who're you kidding now, Bob? - Editor) Art Widner, the humor man of fandom, didn't seem his real self at the Boskone -- he only told me one joke worth repeating. Besides that, the Boskone was a flop -- only three people were the recipients of hot-foots -- a disgrace to fan conventions. Besides that, no one got drunk -- hide your head in shame, Art, for perpetuating such an affair. Rusty and I got a kick out of reading TBYerke's rip-snorting writeup of the Denvention -- and the funniest part of it is that every word Yerke wrote is just too true. Incidentally, I'd like to say hello to my fellow drunkards of Denvention Daze -- Yerke, Fortier, Widner, Korshak, Bronson, Martin (when he passed), and the rest of the gang. I doubt that there would be much opposition if I were to state that perhaps the largest stf and fantasy collections in the east are those owned by the Futurians. RD Swisher, Oswald Train, and the joint Madle-Baltadonis conglomeration. . . . .Milty Rothman is back in Philly again -- the PSFS needs him, but not as much as he thinks.
