Taurasi, 137-07 32nd Avenue, Flushing, New York. 3 issues for 10c, no subscription over 20c accepted. ADs traded with other fan publications, Their Ads to appear in issues of SPACE LINES INC. THE MOVIE CORNER by MARIO RQACIC JR THE ETERNAL MASK is playing at the Gaiety for one week beginning the 29th of July (It did not play last week; program was changed without notice) Dr Jekyll AND MR HYDE is playing at the WALDORF, 50th St, bet the 5th and 7th Aves, Aug 2nd-3rd & 4th. TOPPER can be seen at the Sutton Cinema, 57th St, bet 2nd & 3rd Aves Aug 4th & 5th. FLIGHT INTO NOWHERE is playing Tues. Aug. 2nd at the Savoy, 34th & B'way, also same dat at 2nd Ave and 54th Street. (All the above are in New York CITY)--- Grand National are planning WONDER WORLD, a prehistory similar to LOST WORLD; THE JEEP is a new Popeye Cartoon (The Jeep being 4th Dimensional) THIS WEEK'S FAN MAGAZINES Arrived early this week, IMAGINATIVE FICTION containing an article COMMON SENCE by PERCY T. WILKINS which was fairly good and a good story by THOMAS WHITESIDE called MURDER ON THE "SIRIUS". A wheel drawn cover by Jack Agnew and as good inside illustrations by Baltadonis complete the issue. We would like to see this magazine published more regularly. Arrived today, the August issue of IMAGINATION, back with its single columns and so call modern English. Very interesting contents, but too many items to be able to give a complete report on. Best liked items were Way Out West and If I had $100.00. Reader's column was interesting as usual. The best drawing in the whole issue was that What-do-you-call-it thing on top left hand corner of page 8. With this issue is mailed a petition for all readers to sign. The Petition stated that the readers of ASTOUNDING was to see published therein the two sequels to THE MIGHTIEST MACHINE. We hereby give our OKs. Also arrived today: THE SCIENCE FICTION NEWS LETTER COME TO THE 1939 WORLD'S CONVE'N SPACE LINES INC Will be given FREE to all subscribers of FANTASY NEWS. Look for it with the next issue of this paper. Featuring stories of WILL POWER'S fight against INTERPLANETARY LINES, when he tries to organize a rival space line.
