Science Fiction Collector Page Nineteen FAN MAG REVIEW FUTURIA FANTASIA--- Fall, 1939. Volume One, Number Two. This magazine is edited by Ray Bradbury, and is classed as an L.A. SFL PUB. The price of the magazine is ten cents...... The mimeographing is done with the no-longer-so-unique green ink. The interior pages are of ordinary white paper, while the front over boasts a terra-cottaish hue. The cover, incidentally, is stylused by the recently made pro, Hannes Bok. The interior decorations are also drawn by Bok...... The usual editorial is present- entitled "Worry." .... H.V.B. contributes a page-length tale with a book-length title, "The Galapurred Forsendyke" ...... Foo E Onya announces blithely that "I'm Through!".... meaning with science fiction fandom, incidentally ... (as if you didn't guess)..... Doug Rogers and Henry Hasse contribute "Satan's Mistress" and "Lost Soul," respectively. Both are poems ....... Henry Kuttner contributes the demi-tasse of the issue with his amusing, startling expose: "the truth about goldfish." ...... "The Pendulum" was interesting tale dealing with the punishment of a man by sealing him in the base of a huge pendulum. Evidently, the story is written by the editor, since 'tis anonymous....... Guy Amory contributes an interesting "Is it true what they say about Kuttner?" or "the man with the Weird Tale."
