2 CFS Review THE CFS REVIEW October 1940 Vol. 1. No. 1 Published monthly at 1253 Race St., Denver Colorado, free to the members of the CFS. No subscriptions taken from non-members. Next issue will appear November 15. All opinions herein represent the views of the CFS, unless otherwise stated. All material unsigned is by the Editor. Lew Martin Editor Roy Hunt Asst. Ed OFWiggins Asst. Ed. after its primary purpose is fullfilled.---- The Denvention. The Colorado Fantasy Society is affiliated with The Science Fictioneers, The Science Fiction League , and The Weird Tales Club. However, this means only the Denver group, and not the nation-wide membership. In a much more liberal sense, it does include the national club, but due to some not willing to be linked with one or more of these professional organizations but still want to be members of the CFS therefore, it must be that way. The officers elected at the first meetings are the following: Olon F. Wiggins, Director. Lew Martin, Secretary-Treasurer and Official Editor. Roy V. Hunt, Official artist and Assistant Editor. Our West-Coast representative is Paul Freehafer. Rocky Mountain, Charles Ford Hansen. Mid-West, Bob Tucker. And East-Coast is Doc Lowndes. A very large office has been reserved for Forrest J. Ackerman but as yet we have neither named it or quite decided what his duties will be. J. Michael Rosenblum is our English Representative, and Vol Molesworth is our Australian. New officers will be created by necessity and other members elected to fill them.
