for my rejection of "commercialized religion"; and the questions asked by a Chinese young man, graduate of the University of California, when I asked him why he had forsaken the Christian Church and reverted to the religion of his ancestors. He said, "Why should I take Christ? Don't you want him?" I won't bore you any further. I think your idea has great merit, unfortunately there will be some who object to this intimate view of yourself and should not be granted this privilege again. There are those in fandom who take such confidence entirely too lightly, who do not give them the consideration they so earnestly deserve. If they are the sum to-total of his future, his thoughts should surely be worth my very careful and most thoughtful consideration. I think that I heard some mention on the radio that a great aid in keeping of the future peace would be in the more general exchange of students between the various countries. They would thus learn actually to KNOW the peoples of those countries where they went to study, AS THEY REALLY ARE, and not just as they are when set up in a show-case. And those coming here would learn to know us.
