$PRIZE$ CONTEST AMAZINGLY SIMPLE RULES TO WIN VALUABLE PRIZES : : READ CAREFULLY. Write a letter to this magazine, on the subject: "Why I think PLUTO magazine is the PUNKEST of all the Science &. Fantasy Fan Mags. R̲U̲L̲E̲S̲ 1----Letters must contain not less than 5 words, or over 500. 2- —-Neatness does not count; just so the letter is readable. 3- —Language must be gentlemanly & within literary decency. 4----Letters must be in the mail by August 10, 1940. 5- —Decisions of the judges will be final (unless you want to argue about it.) P̲R̲I̲Z̲E̲S̲ 1st. P̲R̲I̲Z̲E̲---Your dime will be refunded for the current issue, If you think it is that punk you won't care for this issue anyhow. 2nd. P̲R̲I̲Z̲E̲--—One extra copy of PLUTO will be added to your subscription, you won't care much whether you get the mag or not, either. 3rd. P̲R̲I̲Z̲E̲----Three copies of PLUTO will be added to your subscription. You will evidently like it a little bit better than the first two. 4th. P̲R̲I̲Z̲E̲----A full year subscription to PLUTO (6 issues). You like the mag enough to warrant your wanting it for a year. 5th. P̲R̲I̲Z̲E̲----A year subscription to PLUTO, and a year subscription to your favorite Pro Magazine. (Printed in the U.S.- - Monthly - Science or Fantasy). You evidently think it is pretty good. A̲D̲D̲I̲T̲I̲O̲N̲A̲L̲ ̲D̲O̲P̲E̲ In case of a tie neither prize will be given. Members of the Staff of PLUTO are not allowed to enter the contest unless entry is made under an assumed name. Letters of the Winners will be printed in the Sept. Issue of PLUTO, and names of all who submit will be given.
