CORRECTIONS As I said once before I have made many mistakes on this issue, some my fault, some the fault of the hectograph. One article I have done over six times because of the hectograph chipping. On this page are corrections of mistakes and reprints of dull parts. Page 4: Lack of signatures at the bottom of the page is because that portion of the hectograph chipped off. Page 5 & 6: Taine should be applied thusly. Page 7: 10th line from beginning of story should read "jet hair that seemed to dance in". Page 11: On second rating should read down: 133, 126, 109, 103, 87 Page 12: It's Francois Paro's FANFARE, and Damon Knight's SNIDE Page 13: Second paragraph: Torottsi instead of Trottsi. Page 16: In third paragraph should be Purple Martian Ape instead of Martian Purple Ape. Third paragraph of Voyage Via Verisimilitude should be what am I instead of what I am. Page 17: Last paragraph: "Last page invites budding authors to contribute should SHORT stories for members' reactions, to improve their styles and mayhap gain some good suggestions. Also solicited r scientific comic strips & ther & there is a good scethch of Einstein & another scientist, whose identities one was to guess... Back Cover: Blue top is Ice Cap. Scattered though is minor mistakes that can be understood. (----) (----) (----) (----) VOYAGE VIA VERISIMILITUDE (con't from 16) For a long while neither spoke. They watched a stream that made the Blue Danube seem white, flow by. It was the color of Vicky's eyes and ever swirling. It bounced over crystal pebbles that reflected every color of the spectrum, even colors that man had never seen before. The sky was rapidly changing colors of violet in which a twin sun climed. The sun was golden-bronze, brighter than anything until Phil stepped into it's light, and there the sun's glory ended. For Phil's hair put everything to shame in brilliance. But eventide came so swiftly. And then Vicky's hair in the quite light of the three thousand moons put everything else to shame. It reflected into the skys and formed the stars themselves. And when mid-night came, they both broke into dazzling light at the foreheads. And spoke Vicky: "Now I know Phil! You're the Lord of Daylight, and I am the Goddess of Night." Don't fear to dream...life is but a dream, and pure thought is reality. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * "I'm a dreamer -- aren't we all?" - THE END - = = = = = = = = = = = = Have you tried The Voice of Imagi-Nation? It's the United voice of all fandom, and may contain as many as thirty famous fans in ONE issue. Mimeographed beautifully in green ink. Send 10c to Forrest J. Ackerman; Box 6475 Metropolitan Station, Los Angeles, California. ================= No more room on this page so just send 10c to Ted Dikty, 3136 Smith Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will receive Fantasy Digest.
