The Robot By Tom Wright Some robots kill and are mankinds foe, They cause deaths and other woe. Bur then there's friendly ones like Adam Link, Who''d no more hurt than eat or drink. Then there's those controlled by man, Used as servants and work they can. But the robot that I'd like the best, Would put out the Comet while I rest! The Time Viewer by W.T. Bell A maze of wires bulbs and tubes, Flashes of light amidst ebon cubes, All constitute my time viewing machine, My future life passes in kaleidoscopic scenes. But soon it stops, has the machine failed? No, everythings right to the last piece I nailed. Many times I've wondered why. Now I know, it's when I die. The Light by W.T. Bell While walking past a graveyard one night, Through wisps of fog there shone a light! Feeble at first it came in sight, But continually growing overpoweringly bright. It radiated strange thoughts and feelings, Thoughts that never should reach a mortal being. The essence of life leaving the dead, For some greater domain ahead.
