Important We realize that this first issue of FAN-ATIC is pretty terrible. Even though the material is, we believe, fairly good we know that the method of duplicating the material is very poor. Therefore, after much thought, we have decided to mimeograph PAN-ATIC in the future. Since this will cost more we will have to go bi-monthly. However, in spite of the increase of pages from 8 to 16, the ad and sub rates will remain the same. No subscriptions longer than one yr will be taken. We are much indebted to the Solar Press for quoting us a very reasonable price for the mimeoing. Also, and very interesting ((aw, shucks! I meant that last "interesting" to be "important")) the staples in the next issue will be at the side instead of at the top. In the next issue there will be many interesting stories, articles, poems, departments, etc. So far, the following is definite: 1. An article on new fanmags by Art Widner Jr. 2. The conclusion of delagaetz's hilarious tale. 3. An article on time-travel by myself. 4. Book reviews, Fanmag review, Biography, Editorial, etc. There will be much other stuff, but at this time I don't know just what. The next issue, dated March, will be ready on or about the 1st of March. Please send in your subs now as the supply is very strictly limited.
