Loe & Lorraine Psmith temporarily chuck WT index, since Bill Evans has just about completed another same. Smitty is not attending to the completion of the Unk Index, & it should appear veddy soon! Maybe. Geo has been on shore 2 months, to date -- only one month over his permitted 30 days. He'll look damn good in an army uniform. Watson definitely OE of fapa. takes over with the next Mailing -- April -- so members take note! Mailing goes out by 3rd Saturday of April, & no later! Send your stuff to Watson, not Pshaw! Take heed! VISITING FIREMAN : No especial pipples have paid homage to the Watson or Ebey or Psmith shrine lately, except Jack Riggs, who arrived for a few days from Back East. He & Watson turned out Dishabille. IF you got a copy of the thing, that's TS. Don Bratton & his navy chum, Hank Spelman, both stfictionists of the first water, have made a number of rush visits to Frisco, but none of them stayed around long enough to do anything but buy books. How dull. Paul Carter is stationed on Treasure Island, has made the usual sojourns to the Bouchers', the Psmiths, the Watson's, and the Waldeyer's. ABOUT THE EDITOR Who always likes to talk about himself. His fanactivity is gradually being cut down, prior to his joining the Merchant Marine in July. He will definitely pay a visit to the Angelenos during June & hopes (if he can scrape together the dough) to make a visit to Slan Shack & NYC. Futurians, slannies, etc, take cover! (He may even drag Geo with him. ((Oh no, not that! NO, ANYTHING BUT THAT! AAAAAGHHHHH!!))) diablerie no '8' will appear about mid-April, with superb halftone litho by Jack Wiedenbeck, more page than you can shake your stick at, & absolutely top-flight material!
