FORMERLY THE SOLAR SCOUT -published every month- Alex Osheroff,EDITOR Sam Meskowitz,AID -------------------------- Address communications to Alex Osheroff 478-18th Ave., Newark N.J. ------------------------- 5 cents the copy 6 issues for 25cents Vol.I No. 2 ---------------------- )))))))))))))))))))))) ---------------------- A MAGAZINE WITHOUT A NAME ( editorial ) by Alex Osheroff If ever a science fiction fan magazine was a in a predicament this one is. Although the first issue of this publication came out with the colorful name of The Solar Scout, it was soon afterward found that the title was copyrighted by a quite large concern, and so we are quite foolishly appearing without a name. Oh we did think of a number of substitutes but none seemed to suit our taste. Won't you please send us one? Two one year subscriptions to this magazine go for the two best names sent in. Try your luck ---------------------------- Well, our little publication has seen a second issue. Of course the magazine is not of gigantic size by any means but we think you will found our magazine contains four pages of pure undultered entertainment. Take Little Llowellyn for example. There is real humoro in science fiction and it's author (unknown to us) condescend to write us many more. We thought the Cure just a bit to well written to include in Hashlingers Hideout but we did did nevertheless (can our readers inform us if that story is humorous or serious we really don't know. Also don't let us don fan's. Keep sending us material for Hashlingers Hideout and we'll promise you one of the best interesting columns ever placed in a fan mag.
