The Ballad of Temi Dassee Little Princess Temi Dassee / was a sweet Venusian lassie / loved by handsome Derek Deems, / he had met her in his dreams. That was nineteen forty-one, / and Derek never dreamed that one / enchanted day, yes, he might fly / to his Venusian sweetie-pie. But in nineteen sixty-two / space ships wended thru the blue. / It was a common thing to see / and Derek had held faithfully. To his dream of Temi Dassee / his distant, dear, Venusian lassie. / So, within a space ship proud, / He went sailing thru a cloud, off to visit Venus fair / to seek his Temi Dassee there. / To his horror, when he landed, / there was Temi Dassee stranded / on a desert in the clutch / of a slavering Sealamutch. Derek Deems drew out his blaster, / pointed it as Soala, faster / that the eye could ever follow, / but the blaster beam was hollow! No effect on the weird critter / could be seen. So with a bitter / yell of rage brave Derek ran / to battle Soala hand to hand.
