Ain't I a Woman? a midwest newspaper of women's liberation vol. 1 no. 13 March, 12 1971 all the unexplored caverns call me I knew what I want and it's not here, it's not what I've ever had they tell me it doesn't exist but they lie about everything [hand drawing] If someone grabs you around the neck, don;t vainly try to pull his arms away or pry his fingers loose. The strength of his arms and hands is greater than the strength of your forearms. Instead use the strong muscles in your shoulders. Make a fist of on hand and cup it in the other. This is so that whe you bring your hands down on his nose, you won't break your fingers. Keeping yur elbows close together, force first your forearms and then your upper arms and shoulders upward between his arms. Keeping your elbows together is important because flapping your arms is useless. It is the strength of your shoulders that will break the hold. After you are able to breathe, bring your cupped hands down on his nose so he will discover what its like not to be able to.
