May 17, 1945 Dearest Evelyn, Just got the letter from you written from Richland. Sure good to hear from you. Sounds as if you really did hit a good time for your vacation. Gosh but I'd like to be there. I can just picture your standing up in front of those people. I just got the Clarion from home with the pictures of the graduating class. Just as you said, it doesn't seem possible that those kids should be graduating. Things have been jumping around over here. You can probably guess what happened know that V-E day is over. We have really shipped around. Right now I'm living in an unfurnished
