II. we have nothing else. That is murder. Still haven't received that much desired letter. In fact, I haven't received and mail in the last three day. I'm hoping it will be here in the morning. That last letter got here too fast and left a big gap between letters. Heard a mail boat caught fire and sank in the harbor in Marseille day before yesterday. Possibly that is where some of our mail has gone. How wonderful the news has been this past three days. Even at that, they say it will be a long time yet. Makes it hard to wait when you can begin to see the end. We are supposed to have a ball game tonight, but I doubt if I get to
