enough clouds to make the moon look as if it were jumping in and out of the clouds. All the surrounding clouds had this silver lining and as I said before, it was beautiful. It's nights like those that make me realize how badly I want to get home and soon. I loved you more last night than I ever thought it was possible to love anyone. It made me angry at the army, the Japs and everything else that kept me away from you. I watched the moon until a big lump rose in my throat and I felt so terribly lonely. Lonely with thousands of people around, but I was lonely only for you. I'll be that way until I'm home to stay. Today was just another day in the army. I had the whole day to myself so I did a few odd jobs. Found a foot locker one of the fellows
