the money to get anything good. I saw some dresses you could get in the States for $5.00 and here they cost $70.00. Darling, I'm no cheapskate, but if I can't can't get you something good I won't get it. I promise I'll make it up to you some day. Enough for that for I feel bad enough about it now. Honey, it would be swell if you could send me some books. I guess you know pretty well what ones to send. I gather this is enough of a request for I truly would like some books. I haven't played ball in over a week now. Don't know what happened to the league, but it doesn't seem to be functioning any longer. Maybe they decided it was to hot to play and they may be right. Still haven't gotten our radio fixed. Suppose we are out of luck for awhile
