Darling, don't stay in Davenport and work in the hospital if you don't want to. What I mean is, don't ruin your plans just because you think I might get home. When I said I hoped you stayed out of the army I didn't mean you shouldn't do what you wanted. Cripes honey, you know what you want to do and if I should happen to get there someday we could get together some way. As for wanting to be my wife Evelyn, I'll give you that chance once I'm home to stay. Just don't change your mind please.
