Jan 19, 1945 My Dearest Evelyn, Hi darling! Another of those lonely Saturday nights. Its lonely all the time without you darling, but especially so on Saturday nights. Just got back from down town. I'll give you the details on what I've done before I forget. The past two days have been almost identical in so far as news. Went to school through the day then went down town to the early evening movie. After that the gang ended up in the Red Cross playing cards. Stay until about 10:30 or 11:00 then start
