France Jan 19, 1945 Dearest Evelyn, It has been so long since I wrote that I hardly know where to start. I guess the best thing to do is start way back when while I was still in England. I managed to see a little of London while I was in England. There was the educational part like seeing West Minister and the palace then there was the entertaining part down town. London is the wildest place I've ever been to. Down on the main part of town some of the girls practically drag you off the street and I mean exactly that. It was pretty bad, no fooling. I did have alot of fun there anyway and I guess that is what counts.
