Don't know if I told you or not, but I'm making $10. more a month now. It is pay for being in combat. Sure comes in handy for with my bonds and all I was only getting $2.00 a month. That isn't much is it? I'm getting a $50. & $25. bond a month now. May have a little money saved up when I get home. I've never heard from the folks saying that they knew I was in France in combat. I know darned well they are worrying themselves sick. I got a chance to go on a pass to one of the larger cities of France. It had really taken a beating. I thought London was bad. The girls here practically sell there life away for cigarettes or gum. It was really bad, no fooling. I managed to get my second bath
