little cooler than usual. That I am thankful for. The folks should be with Ken and Marg today. They were to arrive in Camp Hood yesterday. I'll bet they are really having a fine time. As you see Evelyn, I didn't leave the 15th. Since I'm gunner on a mortar they didn't take me---yet. I guess they figure that it was too hard to train new gunners. However, there is another shipment leaving in the near future so maybe I'll hit it. I hope so for I feel like a heel being in the states when most of the gang have all gone over. I suppose Al seems as crazy as eve. I really didn't find out party too hard on my constitution. I just wish we could have had more of them. I didn't go eat dinner tonight. I was just too lazy to walk over to the mess hall. I can't seem to get rested up over a weekend. Lord but I hate to start a new week.
