sleeping on the ground I suppose. Got a letter from Mick and he is still complaining about the lack of anything to do. I'd like to trade jobs with him for awhile. Suppose I'll take in a movie this afternoon. Don't know whats on and don't particularly care. I did see a swell show last weekend "Since You Went Away." I don't seem to be in a very good letter writing mood this morning so maybe I'd better sign off. I've about covered the news anyway. Evelyn, if I don't get your letters answered right on the dot, just remember that I'm probably in the field. I'll do my best and at least I can think about you anyway. Bye for now. Love, Carroll
