Camp Hood, Texas September 12, 1945 Dear friends: Well friends, I recieved your welcome letter, and the picture you send me. I was sure was glad to hear from you again. And this leave me the same here. I am still in the same [more? move?] here, and still on the job. I hope this letter fine you folks in the best of health. There is hardly any new thing here but, I'll think we can fine something to talk about in the letter. For the first thing is that we are having a hard wind & raining right now. I sure like to see it rain here in this camp. In the day time it very hot, maybe you know that yourself when you was down here in north camp. Oh yeah, I heard that they are closeing up the north camp. Other wise the thing around here are still in the same shape yet. More & more boys coming in to training center here.
