49 1 technical assistance as they may request to further their 2 compliance with this title or an order issued thereunder; 3 (4) upon the request of (i) any employer, whose 4 employees or some of them, or (ii) any labor organi- 5 zation, whose members or some of them, refuse or 6 threaten to refuse to cooperate in effectuating the provi- 7 sions of this title, to assist in such effectuation by con- 8 ciliation or such other remedial action as is provided by 9 this title; 10 (5) to make such technical studies as are appropri- 11 ate to effectuate the purposes and policies of this title 12 and to make the results of such studies available to the 13 public; 14 (6) to refer matters to the Attorney General with 15 recommendations for intervention in a civil action 16 brought by an aggrieved party under section 706, or for 17 the institution of a civil action by the Attorney General 18 under section 707, and to advise, consult, and assist the 19 Attorney General on such matters. 20 (h) Attorneys appointed under this section may, at the 21 direction of the Commission, appear for and represent the 22 Commission in any case in court. 23 (i) The Commission shall, in any of its educational or 24 promotional activities, cooperate with other departments and A.H.R. 7152---NO. 656-T-----7
